3/12/2014 the paper bag fee was cancelled and no longer applies. 7/16/2013 Santa Fe Finance Committee has endorsed a proposed bag ban with in city limits for plastic bags and a $0.10 fee on paper. The proposal is headed for a public hearing in late August 2013. 5/23/2013 The City’s Business and Quality of Life Committee has approved a measure that would ban plastic and impose a fee on paper. They plan to introduce the measure next week to the City Council.
